Only Two Weeks Left!

There are only two weeks left of my Freshman year at Utah State University. How sad! I need to break out the camera again! I haven't taken a lot of pictures lately, which is super depressing. I need to get on that! I've had so much fun this year and have grown so much. I can only imagine what next year will bring! Well, here's the update from this week:

Monday, Joseph and Amanda came to my apartment and we visited for awhile. We ended up going to Panda for dinner that night because I was starving and was craving shrimp. It was delicious :) I had a great day with my besties!

Tuesday, Lauren, Christy and I went to Heather's house to give her a graduation present. We bought her a table she's been wanting. Lauren had a key to her house, so we "broke in" and set up her table and waited until she got home to surprise her. Man, did she jump high after we jumped up from behind her couch and surprised her! surprising people never gets old :) After that, we all made our way back to Logan to go to Fiddler On The Roof for Creative Arts! It was a great show :)

Wednesday I worked on my Research Paper and then went to Joseph's house with Amanda and Brad to watch a few episodes of 24, one of my favorite TV shows! If I could, I'd watch a whole season in a day ;) It was great fun! Then I had to go home to stressful things. I had to register for classes and it's wicked hard to get in the ones that I want to get into! It'll be so much better next year when I can register a day earlier than I could this year. If I hadn't gone and done something fun right before registration, I think I would have exploded. It was so frustrating! Oh well! Ha ha :)

Thursday I worked on my Research Paper once again and then went to a great rehearsal for LDV. We went for an extra half hour to work on some music for our show coming up soon. Afterwards, Joseph took me on a date to get a Frosty at Wendy's and then we went back to my apartment to visit.

On Friday, I went to Idaho for Latter Day Voices to perform for a Seminary in Preston. It was such a special experience! We came back to campus, I took my quiz and then I walked around the Quad with Amanda and Brian because it happened to be Day on the Quad on campus! After that, we went to the Institute building for Latter Day Voices! Shaun, my betrothed, (ha ha, not really, but we like to pretend) came with me to LDV that day :) After LDV, we chatted at the Institute building and then went straight to Amanda's. Joseph ended up picking me up from Amanda's to take me to a Variety Show at the high school he graduated from. I was impressed at how much talent there was there! It was really good! We left halfway through and came back to Amanda's for hamburgers and shakes. The original plan for the night was to have a chick-flick night, but when Skylar showed up, plans changed. He took the computer and we ended up watching stupid (forgive me, Skylar) YouTube videos. Skylar and I had been planning this chick-flick night for ages and what do we do? We watch dumb YouTube videos. Oh well, we still had a blast! I don't regret it! ha ha ha :)

Saturday was a wonderful day :) I took Amanda to my Easter family party at my aunt and uncle's house. It was fun to see the family, enjoy a wonderful lunch together, and be able to enjoy each other's company. After the family get-together, we had our last Stake Conference for Latter Day Voices. It was a very special Stake Conference. Afterwards, Amanda, Brad, Joseph and I went to Walmart to get stuff for Easter dinner. We went to Amanda's apartment after Walmart and visited there. I loved my Saturday!

Today, I'm helping Amanda with dinner and we're going to have an Easter Feast with a few friends :) I'm super excited! :)

Crazy Fun! :)

Monday I got together with Joseph! It was a great day :)

Tuesday I went back home for a job interview.  When I got back, I hung out with Joseph and Amanda. We talked and watched a few episodes of Psych while I worked on a paper for English. Afterwards, I helped Christy with her math and went to bed.

Wednesday I went on a walk by myself after LDV and then came home and did some homework.  It was quite refreshing! It was lightly sprinkling and the wind was blowing. It was one of those moments that made me feel grateful to be alive! I came home and did some homework and then Amanda came over. We had dinner and ended up watching Aladdin and the King of Thieves and 27 Dresses.

Thursday, I went to class, had a personal conference with my English teacher, and then came home. I worked on some homework and then went to Latter Day Voices. We decided to party afterwards, so we all jumped in cars and went to Chili's. After Chili's, Brad and Joseph came over and we talked for awhile. Good day :)

Friday, I went to classes and then got a ride home from my grandparents. Not a super eventful day, but still good! :)

Saturday was a busy and fun day! We got up, finished packing and headed to Provo! On the way, we stopped to run a few errands and I got two new shirts! YAY! :) We visited with my grandparents for a bit before we headed to Provo for my cousin's fiance's bridal shower! It was great to meet her! I'm going to have an amazing new cousin! After the shower, my aunt, my two cousins and my family went to Olive Garden for dinner. After dinner, my family swam and the hotel and relaxed. It was great :)

Sunday, we woke up and had a delicious hotel continental breakfast and then went to the hospital to visit my Grandpa's brother in the hospital. Afterwards, we visited with my grandparents' and my aunt that's in town from North Carolina and then drove home. On our drive home, we passed eight temples and saw seven out of the eight from the road! It was such an amazing experience! Temples are really starting to dot the earth!

When I got back to my apartment, I called Amanda and told her we needed to have a movie night. We talked for awhile and had a surprise visit from Matt and Wyatt! I love those men :) They are such great leaders! Joseph came over later and we watched the seventh Harry Potter movie. :D

I LOVED my week :) It's been such a great school year! I'm really sad for it to end in a couple of weeks, but I know it can only get better from here!

A Late Update... :)

Ha ha ha ha :) Life has been so busy, I haven't had time to update my blog in awhile! So here I go!

The highlights of the last week in March!

I went to Jamba Juice twice! I was surprised by my friend, Joseph one time :) I was forever grateful!  The second time was with Christy, Brenna, and Taylor. It was super random, but I was content with that! Jamba Juice surprises are always grand :)

Jamba Juice Excursion w/ the Roomies! :D

March 31 was grand :) I went to LDV that night and then a bunch of us went to Skot's apartment and watched Tangled! Afterwards, Madison drove Amanda and I home and we sat in the parking lot and talked for three hours. It was so much fun!!!

April Fools Day was such a beautiful day outside :) Ahh. I wore my new sandals and shorts and enjoyed the beautiful weather! It was lovely. I went back to Pleasant View that day to be with my family for General Conference.

April 2 was a good day :) after watching General Conference, my family and I went over for our traditional girls  night while the guys went to Priesthood. We watched Tangled, had great food and I had my eyebrows waxed! LOVED it :)

I went home on April 3 and did some homework and then watched Tangled yet again with Amanda, Christy and Austin. It was great fun :)

Now..... last week! :D

Monday, April 4, I went to class and then Amanda and I went on a walk. I had a Biology test the next day, so Katie, a friend of mine from class, and I met at the library and studied for a few hours for it.

Tuesday I took my test and worked on an English assignment for almost all day.  Then Joseph came and got me and took me out for ice cream and we talked at my apartment. We attempted to watch Tron but Joseph had never seen it and we kept talking, so we gave up on that after awhile. That was a fun night :)

Wednesday, Amanda and I went to Skot's "neighborhood" barbeque. It was a blast! Hung out with a bunch of fun people there and watched "Who's Line Is It Anyways" for most of the night. ha ha ha :)

Thursday after LDV, a big group of LDV-ers went to Juniper for dinner and then some of them migrated to my apartment afterwards. So fun :) I love my friends!

Friday was a good day :) I got to see my good friend Daniel open his mission call! It was my first time witnessing someone open their mission call. It was so fun! He's going to the same mission as my best friend, Justin Marriott!  There's a chance that they may be companions! YAY! That night I went to Brent Homer's house and attended one of the best parties I've been to in awhile! I laughed until I cried several times that night. SO fun :) LOVED IT!

Saturday, I got some stuff done around the apartment, did laundry and went grocery shopping. That night, Amanda, Todd, Madison and I went to Taylor Miles's improv show! It was good :) Afterwards, Amanda and Madison came over and we chilled for awhile. It was amazing!

Today..... well- to be quite honest, not the best day. I was ornery all day. But I"m looking forward to a great week ahead of me!

My Packed Week!

This last week was insane! It sure had it's ups and downs, but turned out quite grand!

Monday was a hard day. I went to Latter Day Voices to find out that there was a possibility that Brother Salmond might eliminate LDV altogether. I was so sad. It was, for the first time, a horrible class period. I bawled. Amanda and I hung out afterwards, went to Panda, and tried to make the best out of the day! It got better as the day went on though!

Tuesday was awesome! Amanda and I chilled and watched Aladdin! It was the bomb! I hadn't seen that movie in forever. After Amanda left, Carlee and I started texting and one of my besties from home, Carlee, decided to come up and have a sleepover! We got her some Rancherito's when she came up and then put in The Phantom of the Opera and fell asleep to it. Phantom is one of our mutual favorites and I swear we try to watch that just about every time we hang out together, if not at least listen to some music from it. It's awesome.

Wednesday, I went to class and then went to Janis Ian that night with Brenna for our Creative Arts class. We ended up having to leave early, so we went to Walmart to grab some groceries and then bought ourselves a treat at Sub Zero ice cream! I'd never been there. It was fun to watch them make the ice cream!

I got a lot done on Thursday. I got my laundry done, cleaned my room, worked on an English essay and studied for Economics. Christy came with me to Latter Day Voices! I was so excited! I love it when she comes with me! After LDV, a bunch of my friends and I stayed and talked with the missionaries. A few people left and got pizza that we could all share and eat at the Institute. It was so fun! Afterwards, Amanda and I were still hungry and Skot didn't get any pizza, so we went out and I got Spoon Me and Amanda and Skot got Arby's. Then, Skot went to drop us off at the parking garage where Amanda's car was parked and we ran into some other LDV people! We talked and sang in the parking garage for about an hour. We're choir students in a place that echoes, you're bound to end up singing, ha! Amanda drove me home and I put in The Sound of Music and started watching it with a few of my roommates. I fell asleep on the couch during the movie and was woke up by a phone call from Carlee! She said she was heading down to USU again to sleep over again! I was stoked! When she got up here, Carlee and I were too hyper to sleep. Christy still had to do her math, so she was up, and all three of us got talking. Carlee and Christy quickly bonded and all three of us were up talking, laughing and watching movies all night. I was so excited the three of us got along so well!

Friday, my mom came up to Logan to bring me home to see my sister Marissa in her junior high play Hello Dolly! My mom, Christy, Brenna and Lauren all went to LDV with me before we drove home! I was so excited to show my mom how rehearsal goes and for her to meet some of my friends! That night I saw Marissa's play. It was so good! I loved it! I got to see some of my friends that I hadn't seen in awhile as well, so that was a plus added on to it all as well!

The Fam at Cabela's!

Saturday I slept in from being up all night with Carlee and Christy and then we headed down to Salt Lake. I finally visited by grandparents that I hadn't seen in forever! Afterwards, we went to Cabela's, out to eat, and then Ikea! It was a wonderful day with the family! I had a blast!

I went to my home ward on Sunday with my family and then my mom and my two sisters drove me back up to Logan! I had a Fireside to perform in for LDV, so I had to be back pretty early. Christy, my mom, and my sisters ended up all coming and got to meet a lot of my LDV friends! After the fireside, I had some of my LDV friends over and we played games and visited. I had a blast :) They went home about 11:00 and then Christy and I had a really nice conversation. We were up late, but it was definitely worth it :)

Busy Week Back!

Monday, I went to Latter Day Voices and realized how much I missed it over the break. It was so good being back with everyone :) That night, Amanda and I got together and ended up meeting with some LDV friends and having Chili's for Katie's birthday. We sang the LDV version of "Happy Birthday" there and it was great seeing the reactions from other people at the restaurant! It was fun :)

Ryan Wight, Brent Homer and me :)

 Taylor Miles and me :)

Wyatt, the birthday boy, and me! :D

On Tuesday, I felt like a little kid ALL day! My mom came up to Logan and took my roommate, Christy, and I shopping for a bit and to lunch! It was so fun! Afterwards, Christy and I grabbed some chairs, sat outside and colored! That night, Amanda came over and we made t-shirts for St. Patrick's Day. After that, we went to Wyatt's birthday party where the cops got called, twice! Don't worry, we weren't doing anything crazy. They just have some neighbors that can't stand a little chatter from above. We didn't even have music going and we whisper sung "Happy Birthday". The cop was really nice and understood. It was quite the adventure!

Wednesday, I went to Amanda's and chilled. We went to Walmart and I watched her make a cheesecake. Ha! It was a relaxing day.

Amanda and I in our shirts we made! I'm blinking, but it shows the shirt!

Lauren, Me, Christy and Brenna at the 20,000 Bouncy Ball Drop!

Shaun and I excited over the one bouncy ball I got out of 20,000. Ha ha :)

Thursday was St. Patrick's Day! I got to wear my shirt all day! It was great :) After classes, I went to the Museum for Creative Arts, then rounded up my roommates and headed down to the Stadium Parking Lot to watch an awesome physics experiment where they dropped 20,000 bouncy balls out of a helicopter over 100 feet in the air! USU broke a world record! What other school does school stuff like that but Utah State? Seriously! I had LDV at 6:00 until 8:00 and then went home. After the guys got done with their extra practice, Brian and Skot picked Christy and I up from the apartment and we met Daniel and Olivia at Wendy's for Frosty's. After we ate Frosty's, Skot, Christy, and I went to Skot's place and watched Inception. It was a great night!

The warning it gives you before you start playing. This gave me a good laugh!

Do you see that pin stuck to the wall in the back? That was Amanda's doing. HA!

Bowling shoes! YAY!!!!

On Friday, Christy came with me to Latter Day Voices! I love it when she comes with me! Afterwards, Amanda and I went on a walk down by the Logan Temple. It was so pretty and nice outside! After our walk, we went over to Skot's apartment and ended up chilling with him the rest of the night. I met one of Amanda and Skot's mutual friends named Ryan. The four of us went to Logan Lanes and bowled! It was so fun! I did horrible though.... I definitely need to brush up on my skills!

Saturday, I had early morning rehearsal for LDV, so I woke up at seven and sang. Afterwards, Amanda and I went on another walk and then went to I-HOP for breakfast/lunch. I came home and basically slept until I needed to get up and get ready for the Stake Conference LDV was performing in. When I woke up, my roommate, Taylor, showed me this amazing video of this song from the Phantom sequel. It's called "'Til I Hear You Sing" from Love Never Dies. Ahh.... this man. He's so attractive! He has an AMAZING voice AND he's incredibly good looking.  It's a great song. The YouTube video is below. After the performance, Skylar, Brian, Amanda, Olivia and I went to Wendy's to grab dinner because I was starving. Then Ryan Wight joined us and we watched Mrs. Doubtfire at my apartment! Great show.

I can't wait to start another crazy week! Time flies SOOOO fast! It's nuts! But life is good!!!!

My Wonderful Week Off!!

Pa ha! SPRING Break? I think not!! It SNOWED. I think we should call it Winter break, because the break over Christmas should just be called Christmas Break. Ha ha ha :) But Spring redeemed itself on Thursday, the weather was in the upper 60's! So refreshing! It just had to tease me a little.... It's all good. ;)

Monday was fun! I woke up and went shopping with my mom and family friend, Janet Green. We had a blast! We went to Riverdale to get some stuff done and we couldn't get done what we originally went up there to get done! ha ha ha :) But we still had a blast! We got lunch at Chick-Fil-A and visited.

Tuesday, I slept in, got a shower, and went down to Kelani Maughan's house to get my hair cut. MAN, that was so refreshing! I needed it BAD. We ran some errands and had dinner, and then I chatted with Ciara Henrie on the phone for awhile. After we talked, I watched Red and then fell asleep to Princess Diaries. It was a good day :)

Wednesday was a BLAST!!! I got to visit with my friend Brandee Stokes! She's engaged and I'm super excited for her. I got to look at some wedding stuff for her and we got to catch up on life. Afterwards, I helped my sister with a Spanish project and filmed her and her friends. That was funny :) Then I was invited to come to Young Women's with my home ward! It was so fun! We did facials and learned how to better take care of your skin! Afterwards, three of my previous leaders and I went to Chili's to chat and catch up on life over amazing food. Wow, I TOTALLY over-ate! We had chips and salsa and molten chocolate cake. Man... it was so chocolately.... It was THEE best! By the time I was finished I was ready to sit down and be the laziest bum! It was so GOOD!!! Then I got news that another one of my friends is getting married! Holy moly! All these girls MY AGE getting married... It's crazy business!

Thursday I got up and chilled around the house, got ready, and applied for some summer jobs in Pleasant View. On my way home, the Service Engine Soon light came on in the truck and I couldn't find my phone. HA! Luckily I found my phone and made it home safe. Then I went and visited James Marriott! LOVE that boy :) I was so excited to see him! He's one of my besties! We caught up and watched a little of Princess and the Frog.

Carlee and me :)

After James and I chilled, Carlee Jenkins came and picked me up from his house! I was SO EXCITED to see her! I haven't been able to hang out with her since September! I saw her for maybe twenty minutes over Christmas break but we weren't able to get together. She helped me chemically straighten my hair. Man, was that ever entertaining! I'm glad I had her help me. She had me laughing through the entire thing! I have NEVER done anything that drastic to my hair. Never had to perm it because it's so curly, never dyed it because I love my natural color. I'm glad I did it because it's a lot easier to manage now. It didn't go all the way straight, but I can use the product again in three months and get it to go straighter. I'm super stoked! Yay for an easy summer hairdo! The only downside is that now my hair smells like I got a perm, but oh well! The price for beauty... ha ha!

Friday was great! I slept in and then my mom and I went shopping! We went all over Riverdale shopping. I watched a little bit of Matlock and also got to visit my grandparents! It was a great day :)

Todd, me and then Daniel in the back

Amanda and me :)

Daniel (making a face, as always) and me

Saturday, I got up and packed and my family and I went up to Logan. We dropped all my stuff off at my apartment and then grabbed some groceries and things I needed. When they left, Amanda and I got together, had dinner and then waited for the guests to arrive at the party we'd been planning all week. It was so fun! We had a great turn out. We watched movies and visited. I loved it! Pictures from the party are above!

Today, I'm having a few people over for dinner. I'm very excited! It should be good, I used my mom's recipe for Chicken Fiesta. I've been craving it so if no one else likes it, I guess that means more for me right? ;) ha ha HA HA!!

It's Spring Break!!! :)

This week has been wonderful! Despite it being busy with homework and a few little road bumps, I was able to fit a lot of fun in as well! Yes, I may have lacked some sleep.... but hey! Life of a college student, right? :)

Monday, I had Family Home Evening! We went to the Bishop's house and visited and ate. It was nice to get off campus for awhile :)

Tuesday was a riot! I didn't have anything planned except to study for my Biology exam, and was invited to a movie night at Skylar's house! I studied Biology for a few hours, grabbed some dinner, and went over. We watched Footloose and then played Baby, I Love You, But I Just Can't Smile and Curses! What a great combination! Two of the best games for a group! I was laughing so hard I was crying!! Dear Olivia took some video and I really want to watch it and get a copy of it. It was a legendary night!

Wednesday, I studied some more for my Biology exam and Amanda came over. We chilled for the greater part of the day :) We went to Walmart and walked around for awhile and then we went to Village Inn for some dinner. It was a relaxing girls night out!

Thursday, I took my Biology exam! I was SOOO glad to have that over with! Thursday didn't start out being the best day, but it sure ended well with Latter Day Voices rehearsal and friends over for dinner and movies! We watched three movies in a row that night! Land Before Time, Land Before Time II, and Lion King. My good friend, Daniel, showed me that at the beginning of Lion King in the song The Circle of Life, it sounds like it's saying "Pink pajama, pink pajama bottoms." I will NEVER watch that movie the same way again. Ha!! Now, in consequence, I have the song ingrained in my head now for days! Ha ha ha!!! At about 30 seconds into the movie is when it starts the "Pink pajama, pink pajama bottoms" thing. It's great!!!

Friday, I took my Economics quiz, did some Biology homework, and then got ready and went to my first Aggie Gymnastics Meet! Amanda was asked to sing the national anthem that night, so I went to see her sing and discovered that I LOVE gymnastics meets! We need to make this a bigger thing! It's so COOL!!! I want to go to as many as I can! Those girls are very talented! I think my favorite is the floor. After the meet, Amanda and I jumped in the car and went to Olivia's for a movie night! We watched what I believe is called Baptists At A Barbecue and The Sound of Music. :) Baptists At A Barbeque was HILARIOUS!! We paused it in the ending credits and got an extra laugh at the end as well! The Sound of Music was fun too, considering I was with my choir friends and we all sang to the songs and harmonized! Ah, how I love choir people!!

Amanda, Brenna and me at the Gymnastics Meet!

Today, Saturday, I slept in and packed. My family came to pick me up and we went shopping and came home. We ate and watched Lion King! It was a pretty fun day :) I'm looking forward to this next week! Sleeping in with no school and hardly any homework to worry about! Happiness and CHEER!!!

Thank Heavenly Father For Wonderful Friends and Family :) :) :)

 Amanda and me :)
 Daniel and me :)
Kendra, me and Todd!! and Daniel... picture creeping at the bottom ;)

Yesterday was a great day! I started it out early by waking up at 8 to help the other LDV girls make a surprise breakfast for the LDV boys!  We were lame and didn't have anything for them on Valentine's Day, so we decided that food would be a great idea. It was a blast! A few pictures from that adventure are above.

After I got home from that, Christy and I rode the bus down to Sarah's house to visit her. I hadn't seen her new apartment since she'd got married, so that was fun! We did a bunch of random stuff together and Kaity came to chill with us towards the end.

After Sarah's, I went to Amanda's apartment and we started watching the Sci Fi version of Alice in Wonderland. We had plans to go ice skating with some people in LDV, so I went home to grab some socks and my roommates wanted to come. Amanda didn't have enough seats in her car to fit everyone, so I called up Daniel and asked him for a ride. Right as he answered the phone the first injury of the night happened. As soon as he said "hello" I fell down and my ankle popped. Pa ha! I sat there for a minute and took some ibuprofen and felt fine after I stood up, so I thought I'd be okay ice skating, so I went anyways.

Ice skating was a blast! I got better at skating backwards.... still haven't mastered it. Tried learning how to do a little spin and when I was being a dare-devil, I fell and hurting the SAME ankle I had hurt before ice skating... ha! At least it was towards the end and not when we started skating. I had so much fun even though I was injured, it was worth it! Just another thing to make my friends laugh :) I'll just be comic relief! Another plus: it didn't hurt terribly until I woke up this morning, I was still able to go to Amanda's and watch another segment of Alice after ice skating. We definitely need to finish that movie! I liked what I saw of it! We ended up falling asleep on her couch, it was kinda funny. We both had pillows and had them on the arms on opposite sides of the couch and fell asleep. She woke me up and I went home and crashed hard.

Like I said, when I woke up this morning, my ankle was killing me! I knew I wouldn't be able to make it to church, so I got up and got ready, watched Letters to Juliet and called a bunch of people I'd been meaning to get an update from. I got my FAFSA done so now I don't have to worry about that! Yay! My mommy was so proud of me! Our home teachers visited and now I'm trying to just get things done that I need to because I know I won't be able to sleep for awhile.

I have officially decided that Brandee and I need to take a more recent picture because this picture was taken over a year ago! But my dear friend is ENGAGED!!!! I am so happy for her! She will be married in the Bountiful temple for eternity to the man of her dreams hopefully on June 2 :) her engagement story is adorable! I can't wait to meet her man in person! :)

I have a busy week ahead of me: paper due tomorrow, a huge biology exam on Thursday, and a presentation and a quiz on Friday!

My Heart Is Full!

This week was filled with all kinds of spiritual experiences and other fun activities! Monday, I went to classes and then Brenna and I went grocery shopping and birthday shopping for our roommate Taylor's birthday. Tuesday, I went to class and then went to a review session for my USU 1350 test and then went to an S.I. session right after. I came home, played 007 James Bond on the Nintendo 64 with Shaun and Tyrell. At around 9, we picked Taylor up from the library and made a cake when we came back. While the cake cooled, Shaun and Tyrell took us to the Junction for some midnight pizza. Mmm, that was delicious! After pizza, we frosted the cake and ate it! Yay!

Taylor's Birthday Celebration!

Wednesday, I went to Madeline's and studied for my USU 1350 test. I came home and studied some more and did some other homework. Thursday, I woke up and took my USU 1350 test, went to Institute, and then met with an advisor in the FCHD department. I don't know if I'll major in that. I still need to set up an appointment with an advisor in Music Therapy. That is on my To-Do list for this week. After my advisor meeting, I met up with Lauren, Brenna, Christy, and Taylor and we went apartment hunting for Fall semester.

Thursday night was a big night for me. I had four hours of Institute choir practice. In Latter Day Voices, we had a devotional and ended up talking about Priesthood keys and all sorts of cool stuff I didn't realize about the Gospel. I whipped out my LDV Revelation notebook and couldn't stop writing stuff down. It was really cool! Right after LDV I went to the choir practice for the CES Fireside on February 13. That was another awesome spiritual experience. Good ol' Brother Salmond! After choir practice, my roommates and I had a great Gospel discussion as well.

Friday was nothing like I thought it would be. It was so fun! I asked Skylar to the IWA Dance last minute and we had a blast! We danced and yelled and screamed and just plain had fun! Saturday was awesome. I went to the Relief Society Birthday Celebration that my stake put on. Katherine Nelson, the actress who played Emma Smith in Joseph Smith, the Prophet of the Restoration and Emma Smith, My Story talked and sang for us. That was so touching and I will never forget it. Afterwards, Brenna and I went on a beautiful walk and had a great discussion and then it was off to my very first Aggie Men's Basketball game! Oh boy.... was that interesting! Let's just say it was nothing like I thought it would be, ha! I went with some awesome friends and partied it up!

 IWA Dance
Aggie Men's Basketball Game

Today was yet another great spiritual day. I went to church and had amazing lessons from Korinne and Brenna and had an awesome Testimony meeting. I was truly touched. Right when we got home, Brenna and I put in Emma Smith, My Story and I watched it for the first time. WOW. If you haven't seen it, get your hands on a copy as fast as you can. It's amazing! The rest of the afternoon has been relaxing and I just did my own thing. This week is sure to be another adventure!
